Rachael Ray visited Baltimore for Rachael Ray’s Tasty Travels, where she visited Gertrude’s Restaurant and Cafe Hon, as well as the now-closed Brass Elephant and Abacrombie restaurants. Cafe Hon was also the focus of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

Guy Fieri has brought Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives to the Baltimore area 13 times, but he has a special affinity for Chap’s Pit Beef: he’s reportedly flown food and staff from Chap’s across the country for his private events, and he’s featured them on Best Thing I Ever Ate.

Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern visited Woodberry Kitchen, Chap’s Pit Beef, Faidley’s, the Mary Mervis Deli and Angie’s Soul Food in Lexington Market, midtown Korean restaurant Nam Kang, La Chiquita in Prince George’s County and Ellicott City’s Shin Chon, which he called “one of [the] top ten Korean BBQ experiences in America.”

Adam Richman’s Man vs. Food has filmed at Annapolis’ Chick & Ruth Delly, where he did the Colossal challenge, downing a 6 pound milkshake and a 1.5 pound turkey/corned beef sub in less than an hour. He is one of three people to complete the challenge. Man vs. Food also visited Steak & Main in North East, where he was given one hour to eat two 13-ounce Delmonicos, one 12-ounce New York Strip, one 8-ounce Filet Mignon, one 16-ounce Flat Iron, and a 12-ounce Prime Rib,  plus a pound of assorted sides. Richman fell short on the challenge, and had to pay the $140 bill. The show also filmed segments at Chap’s Pit Beef and the now-closed Obrycki’s on Pratt Street.

In addition to filming Ace of Cakes at his Baltimore bake shop, Duff Goldman often highlights Baltimore restaurants on the Food Network show Best Thing I Ever Ate.
