Valentine’s Day with the family can be a fun and delicious holiday. We are celebrating with a Lobster dinner from Lobster Anywhere.
If you have kids, it can be a real challenge to celebrate Valentine’s Day with dinner out on the town. We have always celebrated at home with the kids. Maybe we are different, but we really enjoy spending special holidays as a family. Recently we had the chance to enjoy a family Lobster Dinner from Lobster Anywhere.

Even though it was a bit of a chilly day, we built a charcoal fire in the grill and grilled a few steaks to go with our Lobsters. Hey we are cattle ranchers, and surf and turf was just the ticket!
I cut the back of the lobster shells and removed gently cleaned them. We tossed them on the grill for just a few minutes after the steaks were grilled. It was my first time to grill lobster tails. It was the best ever, so easy and totally delicious.
We started out with Clam Chowder. We had never had REAL clam chowder before…. holy amazing people! We decided we might consider to moving to New England. Cody declared that he could go for a new diet of this clam chowder, all day every day. It was creamy and so delicious. I could go on and on, we really loved it.
Like I mentioned, the fresh lobster tails came off of the grill after cooking for just a few minutes per side. We served them up with a little clarified butter. The lobster was sweet and delicious and made an extra special meal that our family truly enjoyed.
I suppose to live on a ranch, you pretty much need to be a work-a-holic. We hardly ever take a day off and even then there are a few chores on the ranch to take care of every day. An extra special meal on special occasions is just one way I like to show my appreciation for all of the hard work my husband and boys put into our life on the ranch.
