Neenah, Wis. (Nov. 10, 2014) – Miron Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to announce it has received an Award of Merit from ENR Midwest through its Best Projects 2014 competition for its work on the Lambeau Field North & South End Zone Stadium Improvements in the Sports/Entertainment category. ENR Midwest recognizes outstanding design and construction each year through the competition.
A panel of industry professionals selected winning projects based on quality, innovation, safety and the ability of the project teams to overcome unique challenges. Miron’s $145 million Lambeau Field project included the addition of nearly 7,000 new seats in the south end zone, two new gates, a rooftop viewing platform in the north end zone, as well as two new HD video boards and a new sound system. The new gates lessen traffic at other gates throughout the stadium and improve overall entrance and exit patterns.
All winning projects will compete against winners from other regions in ENR‘s National Best of the Best Projects 2015 competition. Miron, along with other project winners, will be honored at an awards breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 20; ENR Midwest’s Project of the Year will also be revealed at this time.
