A tip send it through a mobile app used by law enforcement led to multiple arrests this weekend.
Sunday evening the Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office received a tip about the location of a man with warrants for his arrest through their mobile app.
The tip said that 29 year old Brandon Michael Beard of Interlochen was at a residence in the area. It went on to list the address where Beard was believed to be.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office went to the residence and located and arrested Beard, who had a Friend of the Court warrant for child support. While on-scene, deputies also found another subject with a warrant, 30 year old Nathan Stuart Gibbons of Traverse City. Gibbons was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear.
