By her own journal, Delphine and her third husband, Dr. Leonard LaLaurie sadistically slaughtered 62 Africans held in forced human bondage. They performed terrible and hideous terminal medical experiments on Africans. The Lalaurie Mansion sits atop the real property consecrated by the Ursuline Sisters. I landed at Caddo-Bossier Legal Aid Society in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bossier City, across the Red River from Shreveport, was a swampy wooded area that was an extremely dangerous place.
