DUMAGUETE CITY (PNA)–The province of Negros Oriental and its capital, Dumaguete City, will be the pilot areas featured in the Travel and Beyond Exhibition on May 13 to 15, 2016 in Cebu City.
Unlike other travel expos, Travel and Beyond focuses only on one parti-cular destination, industry, region and country, thus ensuring maximum expo-sure for the featured theme and exhibitor, a media release from Selrahco, a PR agency involved in the said expo, said.
Travel and Beyond is an event fully supported by the Department of Tourism Region 7, and will speci-fically showcase the rich tourist attractions of Dumaguete and Negros Oriental with all its histo-rical and heritage dive sites, including the famed Apo Island, the media release said.
The event will also highlight big hotel discounts, special promo air fares, unbeatable vacations, exci-ting tour activities, shopping vouchers, handicrafts, “pasalubongs”, free loyalty programs and more.
Selrahco, a PR events and marketing management company specializing in tourism and leisure, has teamed up with Robinsons Galleria Cebu to produce this event on a regular basis.
Opened in December 2015, Robinsons Galleria is one of the most elegant malls in Cebu, attracting tens of thousands of visi-tors every weekend.
The mall has been home to various internatio-nal and local events and houses more than 200 tenants offering an eclectic mix of national and inter-national brands. It also boasts of homegrown local and regional brands such as Dumaguete’s Sans Rival.
The three-day exhibi-tion will include a business to business exchange, wherein the Negros Orien-tal Association of Travel Agents and the Association of Travel and Tours in Negros can do product updates and conduct busi-ness sessions with mem-bers of the Cebu Associa-tion of Travel Agencies and the Cebu Travel and Tours Association.
This will serve as a venue for Travel and Tours’ associations of Du-maguete, Negros Oriental and Cebu to sell and market tour packages.
The travel event in May is co-presented by Robinsons Galleria Cebu, Department of Tourism Region 7, Dumaguete City local government unit, the provincial government of Negros Oriental, Cebu Pa-cific, and media partners.
