You can buy discounted certificates for Omni hotel stays through Daily Getaways at 1:00 pm EST.

You Can Get a Great Deal on Omni Hotels

The Daily Getaways website will have a new deal every weekday at 1:00 pm Eastern Time from May 19, 2014, until June 20, 2014.

However, you have to be quick to get in on these deals because they sell out within minutes!

You get an extra 10% off when you use an American Express issued credit or charge card.

Note:  American Express gift cards aren’t eligible for the 10% discount, but some folks have reported Bluebird cards are eligible.

Omni Hotels

You can buy discounted 1 and 2 night stay certificates for Omni hotels:

1 night at Exclusive Omni Hotels & Resorts for $265 (~$239 With AMEX Card)

2 nights at Omni’s Premier Hotels & Resorts for just $375 (~$338 With AMEX Card)

2 night weekend escape at select Omni Hotels for $270 ($243 With AMEX Card

2 night Omni Hotel getaway for $180 ($162 With AMEX Card)

Restrictions

You have to use the certificates on Friday or Saturdays only and by December 30, 2014.  There are blackout dates which vary by hotel.

If you’ll only stay at Omni hotels on Friday and Saturdays by December 30, 2014, this could be a good deal depending on the hotel and your travel dates.

1.   1 Night at Exclusive Omni Hotels & Resorts for $265

Link:   1 night at Exclusive Omni Hotels & Resorts for $265

You Could Save Hundreds of Dollars Off 1 Night at Select Omni Hotels

Omni is offering 1 night for $265 (~$239 with an American Express card) at any of the following hotels:

Omni Berkshire Place, New York, New York

Omni Nashville Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee

Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Amelia Island, Florida

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, Austin, Texas

Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford, Pennsylvania

The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, North Carolina

The Omni Homestead Resort, Hot Springs, Virginia

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, San Diego – North County, California

Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, Palm Springs – Rancho Mirage, California

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, Scottsdale, Arizona

Omni Tucson National Resort, Tucson, Arizona

This would be a good deal at the Omni Berkshire Place.  One night at the Omni Berkshire Place on December 5, 2014, costs ~$645 through the Omni website or Kayak.  Buying a 1 night certificate for $265, saves you ~$380 (~$645 cash price – $265 certificate cost).

A 1 Night Omni Certificate Would Save You More Than Half the Cash Price

But 1 night at The Omni Homestead Resort on December 5, 2014, through the Omni website or Kayak, costs ~$250 which is ~$15 less than the cost of the certificate ($265 certificate cost – ~$250 cash price).

It’s Cheaper to Pay Cash at The Omni Homestead Resort

You should compare the cash cost for your travel dates vs. the certificate cost.

2.   2 Nights at Omni’s Premier Hotels & Resorts for Just $375

Link:    2 nights at Omni’s Premier Hotels & Resorts for just $375

You’d Pay Only ~$188 a Night to Stay at a Omni Premier Hotel

Omni is offering 2 nights for $375 (~$338 with an American Express card) at any of the following hotels:

Omni Chicago Hotel

Omni San Francisco Hotel

Omni La Mansion del Rio

Omni Shoreham Hotel

Omni San Diego Hotel

Omni Parker House

Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza

Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate

Omni Mount Washington Resort

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort

You can use a 2 night certificate at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate on October 17, 2014, to October 19, 2014, for $375 instead of paying the cash price of ~$568, a savings of $193 (~$568 cash price – $375 certificate cost).

You Pay ~$193 More Without a 2 Night Omni Premier Hotels & Resorts Certificate

But if you booked through Amoma.com via Kayak, you’re better off paying cash because it would only cost ~$354.  So a certificate would cost you ~$21 more ($375 certificate cost – $354 cash price).

You Could Save By Booking Through Discount Sites

But Amoma only sends your information to the hotel a few days before your arrival.  Although, you may save money, you might not get the same bed type.  If you want to make changes to your reservation, you have to email Amoma.  And you might not earn hotel stay credit because it’s a discount site.

For some, saving $21 is not worth sleeping in a double bed instead of a king or the hassle of waiting to hear back from Amoma if they need to change a reservation.

And you’re better off paying cash at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.  Because 2 nights on December 5, 2014, to December 7, 2014, only costs ~$330, a savings of $45 ($375 certificate cost – ~$330 cash price).

You Save $45 Paying Cash vs. the Certificate Cost

You should compare the cash cost for your travel dates vs. the certificate cost.

3.   2 Night Weekend Escape at Select Omni Hotels for $270

Link:   2 night weekend escape at select Omni Hotels for $270

2 Nights at 1 of 11 Omni Hotels for $270

Omni is offering 2 nights for $270 ($243 with an American Express) at any of the following hotels:

Omni Royal Crescent Hotel

Omni Hotel at CNN Center

Omni Interlocken Hotel

Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas

Omni Dallas Hotel

Omni Fort Worth Hotel

Omni Houston Hotel

Omni Austin Hotel Downtown

Omni William Penn Hotel

Omni Providence Hotel

Omni Richmond Hotel

If you’re traveling to any of these cities, you’ll save money buying the 2 night weekend escape certificate for $270.  I looked at several travel dates at each of the participating Omni hotels and buying a certificate was cheaper than paying the cash rate.

For example, you would pay ~$415 for 2 nights at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center on November 14, 2014 to November 16, 2014.  But a 2 night certificate would only cost $270, a savings of ~$145 (~$415 cash price – $270 certificate cost)!

You’d Get Good Value From a 2 Night Omni Certificate at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center

if you booked through Amoma.com via Kayak, you’re still better off buying a certificate because you’d save ~$118 ($375 certificate cost – $388 cash price).

An Omni Certificate Can Be Cheaper Than Discounted Sites

4.   2 Night Omni Hotel Getaway for $180

Link:   2 night Omni Hotel getaway for $180

2 Nights at 1 of 12 Omni Hotels for $180

Omni is offering 2 nights for $180 ($162 with an American Express card) at any of the following hotels:

The Omni Austin Hotel at South park

The Omni Majestic Hotel

The Omni Charlotte Hotel

The Omni Charlottesville Hotel

The Omni Houston Hotel at Westside

The Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale

The Omni Jacksonville Hotel

The Omni Severin Hotel

The Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West

The Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

The Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade

You’ll save money buying the 2 night Omni hotel certificate for $180 because it can be cheaper than paying the cash rate at each of the participating Omni hotels.

For example, 2 nights at the Omni Houston Hotel at Westside on November 14, 2014, to November 16, 2014, through the Omni website or Kayak, costs ~$232, ~$52 more than a 2 night certificate (~$232 cash price – $180 certificate cost).

A 2 Night Certificate for $180 Is a Good Deal!

Bottom Line

You can buy 4 different discounted certificates for Omni hotel stays from the Daily Getaways.  And if you use your American Express card, you’ll save an additional 10%.

The certificates are only good at specific Omni hotels and they have to be used on Fridays or Saturdays by December 30, 2014.  Plus there are blackout dates that vary by hotel.

Depending on the city and your travel date, a discounted Omni certificate could be a good deal.

I looked at several travel dates and could save money using the 2 night Weekend Escape certificate for $270 and the 2 night Omni hotel getaway for $180 at every participating hotel.  However, your results may vary.  So do what’s best for you.

Which of the Omni certificates look good to you?
