Remember, WOW Air charges extra for seat selection, large carry-on bags, and checked bags. So to get the best deal, skip the seat selection, pack a carry-on that fits under your seat, and don’t check bags.
That said, even with added fees, these fares are a good deal! Do the math and see if it works for you!
Departing From Baltimore
I found $99 1-way flights on WOW Air to Iceland most Mondays and Saturdays from October to December, 2016. Return flights start at $149.
There are cheap $159 1-way fares to Amsterdam, Bristol, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, and Paris available, too. Travel dates are in April, May, or fall 2016 depending on the destination.
Departing From Boston
Fly between Boston and Reykjavik for $99 1-way from September to December 2016. I found these cheap fares nearly every Monday and Saturday in that timeframe.
Fly back for $149 or more depending on the dates. And the same European cities are also on sale starting at $159.
For example, you could fly from Boston to Amsterdam 1-way for $159 with a 90-minute stop in Reykjavik on October 18, 2016, and attend the Amsterdam Music Festival!
Fly back on WOW Air starting at $255. Or use miles to book a 1-way flight on another airline instead!

Where to Stay?
Best Western, Club Carlson, and Hilton have hotels in Reykjavik (although there are lots of independent hotels).
If you have the Citi Prestige card, check for hotel rooms available with the 4th night free perk.
