The 2015 Annual General Meeting (the “AGM”) of 8I Holdings Limited (the “Company”) was held in Goldbell Towers, 47 Scotts Road, #03-03, Singapore 228233 on Tuesday, 7 July 2014 at 1.10pm.
In its first AGM since the Company’s listing on ASX in December 2014, those present included Executive Chairman, Chee Kuan Tat, Ken, Executive Director, Clive Tan Che Koon, Non-Executive Directors Zane Lewis and Chay Yiowmin, senior management and staff of the Company and its subsidiaries, external auditors and more than 200 shareholders, proxy and observers.
Interested shareholders raised many questions on the business model, strategies, operations and developments of the Company, which were answered by the Executive Chairman and Board of Directors to their satisfaction.
The following resolutions, as set out in the Notice of AGM dated 9 June 2015, were duly passed by poll:
1. Approval of Dividend
2. Election of Chee Kuan Tat, Ken as Director
3. Election of Clive Tan Che Koon as Director
4. Election of Zane Robert Lewis as Director
5. Election of Chay Yiowmin as Director
6. Approval of Appointment of Auditor
7. Approval of Directors’ Fees
8. Approval to Issue Shares
9. Approval of Disposal of CPA Interests
There was no notice of any other business and the AGM ended at 2.10pm.
