**Katie Grand** was the founding fashion editor of **Dazed & Confused**, founding editor of **POP**, and founder plus editor-in-chief of Conde Nast style bible **LOVE** magazine - that's a lot of founding. Her advertising work runs from **Armani** through to **Yohji Yamamoto** including brands starting with most letters in-between such as **Dior Homme, Calvin Klein, Fendi** and **Gucci**, as well as a shit heap of work for **Miu Miu** and **Prada**. Just this past week she hosted a launch party for her own accessories line for **Hogan**. Then there's the continual stream of shoots for American **Harpers Bazaar**, Italia, Japan and **L'uomo Vogue**'s plus she's contributing senior fashion editor at **Interview**. So of course you want to know what she's doing this Paris fashion week, right? We stole four questions with Grand as she works on her 14th season styling what's arguably the most important fashion show on earth, the Louis Vuitton spring-summer women's collection.
**MILKmade:** Hey Katie, what will your Paris fashion week be like?
**Katie Grand:** I've been in Paris for a week already so I'll have been here for over two weeks working on the Vuitton show when it happens next Wednesday. I'll try and see **Balenciaga** on Thursday, which is a highlight for me, but otherwise I tend to see everything on style.com, I'm very happy now all the shows are live so quickly, it's so much better than looking at the shows on twitter.
**MM:** Do you have any fun memories of your first time?
**KG:** **Charlotte Stockdale** and I used to come to Paris together in the nineties and stay at her tiny one bedroom flat. There were up to fifteen people sleeping there sometimes. One season we drove to Paris in her Land Rover from London which was great fun and we listened to Janet Jackson for the whole journey. It was the season that Junya did a mainly white and black collection - the next morning we woke up and tried to re-enact the show with her sheets, pillow cases and duvet.
**MM:** Who do you most like working with in Paris?
**KG:** I now only work with **Marc** (Jacobs) in Paris, which I love, it's just great. My highlight is always seeing the girls in final line up at Vuitton at 9:55am - the collection never looks as perfect as it does at that moment.
**MM:** What's your favorite part of the styling process?
**KG:** It's always working on the shoes, every season it's completely exciting and inspiring.
**MM:** Thanks Katie, can't wait to see the show, good luck...
