Every Veterans Day, Applebee’s invites vets and active duty military to come have a meal on us. It’s our way of saying thanks for their service. But, really, every day is an opportunity to say thank you. So, join us in our Thank You Movement to personally show your gratitude for those who have served, or are currently serving, in our military.  At participating Applebee’s only.

Bake You Happy

All veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free coffee this year on Veterans Day.  This free offer is available for dine-in only during breakfast hours, and proof of service may be requested.

Free Veterans Day Meal at Bar Louie (nothing yet for 2014)

Bar Louie is giving away free Veterans Day meals during lunch and dinner to veterans and active duty military members.

This is at participating Bar Louie locations and is for dine in only. It’s good on any food item up to a $12 value and beverages as well as gratuity are not included.

You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your free Veterans Day meal.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse Veterans Day Free Meal

BJ’s will be giving free meals to veterans on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, valued up to $9.95.  Please contact your local BJ’s to get details on their Veterans Day promotion before heading out.

bd’s Mongolian Grill

bd’s Mongolian Grill are giving veterans and active military members 10% off their total bill this year on Veterans Day.

Bob Evans

Veterans and active military personnel can stop into a Bob Evans location and receive free all you can eat hotcakes on Tuesday, November 11.  You’ll need to bring proof of military service to get your Veterans Day free meal.

Buehler’s Grocery Free Breakfast for Veterans Day

Buehler’s Grocery in Ohio will be having a free breakfast meal and coffee for veterans Tuesday, November 11, from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.  The free breakfast meal includes any items under “Breakfast Meals” on their menu.

Bully’s Steakhouse

Bully’s Smokehouse in Columbia, Illinois is offering all veterans and active duty military a free Veterans Day meal on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, and it includes one non-alcoholic beverage.  Individuals can take advantage of this dine-in only free meal during regular lunch and dinner hours.  Proof of military service may be requested.

Calhoun’s

Calhoun’s Restaurant in Tennessee has a special Veterans Day menu that veterans can eat for free off of on Veterans Day.  Bring along a military ID to your closest Calhoun’s.

California Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen is having a Veterans Day free meal as well and both veterans and those in active military duty can take advantage.  Stop by your local California Pizza Kitchen on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 to choose a pizza, full size salad, or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu when you dine-in.

You’ll need come in uniform or bring your military ID or another proof of service.

Carrabba’s Free Appetizer for Veterans Day

If you are a veteran or active military member, you can stop by a Carrabba’s near you and get a free appetizer of your choice on Tuesday, November 11.  There’s no purchase necessary or coupon required, and you’ll need to bring military ID or come in your uniform.

Cattlemens

Active, inactive, and retired military personnel can come into Cattlemens and get a free 8 oz Sirloin Steak Dinner on Veterans Day.  Be sure to bring your proof of service with you.

CentraArchy Restaurants

All 19 CentraArchy Restaurants will be honoring veterans and active military members this year on Tuesday, November 11, with a free meal.  Restaurants include California Dreaming, New York Prime, Chophouse ’47, The Tavern at Phipps, Carolina Roadhouse, Joey D’s Oak Room, Burro Loco, Gulfstream Cafe, and Chophouse New Orleans.

Individuals will need to provide proof of service for this free, dine-in only meal. Guests will get 25% off their entree as well.

Champps Free Veterans Day Meal

Champps is giving veterans and active duty military a free burger and fries on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  This offer is for dine-in only and is available at participating locations only, so be sure to call ahead.

You’ll need to bring in proof of military services with you to your local Champps location such as your U.S. Uniforms Services ID Card, U.S. Uniforms Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, DD214, or wear your uniform.

Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse Veterans Day Free Meal

Veterans will be able to enjoy a Veterans Day free meal on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  Be sure to bring military ID or a photograph of you in uniform to the Charlie Brown’s near you to take advantage of this offer.

Chili’s Veterans Day Free Meal

Visit a participating Chili’s on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, to get your Veterans Day free meal if you are a veteran or on active military duty.  You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your Veterans Day free meal.  Find a Chili’s near you so you can stop in and get your free meal.

Claim Jumper

This year on Monday, November 10, all Claim Jumper locations will be offering a free meal for veterans.  The menu includes fresh baked pot pies, Tilapia Bianca, Roasted Tri Tip Dinner, Roasted Tri Tip Shrimp, Grilled Chicken, Grilled Salmon, Black Tie Pasta and Chicken Fried Steak.

Veterans must show official verification of their service to take advantage of this Veterans Day free meal, and this offer is valid for dine-in only.

Cotton Patch Cafe

Cotton Patch Cafe is giving out free Veterans Day meals to veterans and active military on November 11, 2014.  You can get a free full size chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken as long as you bring along a form of military ID to your local Cotton Patch Cafe on Veterans Day.

Country Cookin

Country Cookin will be offering free Veterans Day meals to current military members and veterans on Tuesday, November 11.  Be sure to bring along your military ID when you visit your local Country Cookin.

Daystar Chapel

Daystar Chapel is offering a Veterans Day free meal for all veterans this year.  This free meal is available on Tuesday, November 11 at two different times – from 11 AM – 2 PM and from 4-7 PM.  Daystar Chapel is located at 574 Lakewood Rd, Madison, ME.

Denny’s

To honor and thank our nation’s heroes this Veterans Day, Denny’s invites active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by participating locations for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam® on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Durgin Park

All veterans with ID and service personnel in uniform can eat free on Veterans Day at Durgin Park.  You’ll get a complimentary three course meal with includes your choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert.

East Coast Wings Free Appetizer or Dessert

All East Coast Wings & Grill locations will be offering all veterans a free appetizer or dessert on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  You’ll need to bring along your Military ID, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, or a photograph of you in uniform, or be wearing your uniform.

Einstein Bagels

Any veteran can stop by their local Einstein Bros Bagels on Tuesday, November 11 and get a free coffee.  No purchase is required to get the free coffee, but you do need to show military ID.

54th Street Grill Veterans Day Free Meal

54th Street Grill will be having a free meal up to a $12 value for veterans on Veterans Day. Proof of military service is required and it’s dine-in only.  Find out where a 54th Street Grill is near you.

Farrell’s Ice Cream Palour Restaurants (nothing yet for 2014)

Wants to thank every Veteran and current military man and women by treating them to a very special (and completely free) “All American Red, White and Blue Thank You Sundae” all Veterans Day weekend, November 9 – 11. This delicious sundae includes two scoops of vanilla ice cream, blueberry compote, strawberry topping, whipped cream, a cherry, and, of course, an American flag proudly waving atop the whole thing. This sundae is so patriotic you’re going to want to stand up and salute it.

There is no purchase necessary but it cannot be combined with any other special or offer. Acceptable ID’s include a U.S. Uniform Services ID Card (active/reserve/retired), Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Photograph of yourself in uniform, Veterans Organizations Card (e.g., American Legion and VFW), DD214 or discharge paperwork. One free sundae per person for the weekend and no sharing. Unless, of course, it’s with another Veteran or active military man or woman.

Famous Dave’s will be giving out free meals for Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  The Veterans Day free meal at Famous Dave’s includes a One-Meat BBQ Salute, a corn muffin, and a side.  This offer is valid between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM for participating locations only.

Fatz Eatz & Drinkz

Veterans and active duty military can stop into their local Fatz on Tuesday, November 11 and get a free entree up to $13. No other purchase is required.  Be sure to bring along your proof of service or come wearing your uniform.

Fire+Ice Grill+Bar

Fire+Ice will be giving veterans and active military personnel a free Veterans Day meal for lunch or dinner on Tuesday, November 11.  You’ll need to bring your active or expired military ID, uniform, or any other proof of service to your local Fire+Ice to get this free meal.

Fox & Hound

Stop into a Fox and Hound location near you on Tuesday, November 11 for a free burger for all veterans and active duty military.  This Veterans Day freebie is dine-in only and only valid at participating locations. Be sure to bring military proof.

Friendly’s Free Veterans Day Breakfast

Friendly’s is giving veterans and active military a free Veterans Day breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Tuesday, November 11.  Choices include a Big Two Do breakfast, which includes a coffee and the choice between French toast, buttermilk pancakes, or regular toast along with bacon or sausage links, and some eggs. Lunch or dinner includes an All-American Burger served with fries and a beverage.

You’ll need to present your military ID or honorable discharge card to get this Veterans Day freebie at a Friendly’s near you.  Make sure you call ahead to see if your Friendly’s is participating.

Golden Corral Veterans Day Free Meal

On Monday, November 17, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Golden Corral will be giving out Veterans Day free meals and a beverage to any person who has ever served in the U.S. military or is on current active duty. This includes retirees, veterans, National Guard or Reserves.

All Golden Corral locations will be participating and no identification is required to get your free dinner buffet and beverage.

Handel’s

Veterans and active duty military personnel can enjoy a free scoop of ice cream at participating Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt’s across the country this year on Veterans Day.  Individuals can choose from nearly 50 flavors of ice cream. Be sure to contact them ahead of time to see if your local Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt is offering this deal.

Hooters

Veterans and active military members can get a free meal at Hooters on Tuesday, November 11 with purchase of a drink.

Hoss’s Veterans Day Free Meal

If you are a veteran, you can get a free meal at Hoss’s on Tuesday, November 11.  This is a free meal off their American Values Menu, and is dine-in only. Be sure to bring your military proof to your nearest Hoss’s.

Hurricane Grill & Wings

Veterans and active duty military personnel can enjoy a Veterans Day free meal at a participating Hurricane Grill & Wings on Tuesday, November 11.

Items available on the menu include Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, 10 Wings, Fish & Chips, Chicken Sandwich (Crispy or Grilled), Burger Sliders, Pulled Pork Quesadilla, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Hy-Vee Veterans Day Free Breakfast

Stop into any Hy-Vee grocery store with in-store dining and get a free breakfast on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. You’ll get to choose from a wide variety of breakfast foods set out on a buffet.  Find a Hy-Vee near you and call to confirm that they are participating and the hours of the free buffet.

Krispy Kreme Veterans Day Free Doughnut and Coffee

Max & Erma’s Veterans Day Free Meal

Olive Garden is having a Veterans Day free meal for all active-duty military and military veterans who provide proof of service on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Veterans can choose a free entree from a special menu of Olive Garden’s seven most popular items. On The Border Free Veterans Day Meal

On The Border is giving veterans and active duty military members a free Create Your Own Combo meal where they’ll get to choose 2 or 3 selections of soup, salad, tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, and other classics.

Outback Steakhouse Free Bloomin’ Onion and Beverage

Veterans will get a free entree with purchase of second entree at Red Hot & Blue Restaurants November 10-12, 2014.

Red Lobster Veterans Day Free Appetizer

Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer Monday, November 10 through Thursday, November 13, 2014.

Sheetz Veterans Day Free Lunch (nothing yet for 2014)

Sheetz convenience store locations will be giving veterans a free lunch. The Veterans Day free meal will include a 6-inch turkey sub and a 20 oz. fountain drink.

Shoney’s Veterans Day Free All-American Burger

Participating Shoney’s will be having a Veterans Day free meal in 2014 that consists of a free All-American Burger. This is for veterans as well as active duty military while supplies last.  Proof of military service is required and it’s for dine-in only. Find a Shoney’s near you.

Sizzler Veterans Day Free Lunch

Participating Sizzlers will be serving veterans and active military members a Veterans Day free meal until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

You’ll get to choose from a 6 oz. Steak, single Malibu Chicken, or half dozen Fried Shrimp entree with a choice of a side dish. Individuals will also receive a free coffee, tea, or fountain drink.

Bring proof of service such as your U.S. military-issue or veterans group ID card, a photograph of yourself in uniform, or wear your uniform to your local Sizzlers.

Spaghetti Warehouse to Celebrate Veterans Day with Special One-Day Coupon Offer – Tuesday, November 11th.

Starbucks

If you’re in the Washington, DC, area, check out the Concert For Valor.  Starbucks will be giving out free tall brewed coffees to veterans, active duty military, and their spouses on Veterans Day.  Call ahead to make sure your local Starbucks is participating.

Subway

Subway is presenting a national-level partnership with Wounded Warrior Project, and donating $111,112 to help veterans in lieu of offering free sandwiches locally. More details, click here.

Texas Land & Cattle

On Tuesday, November 11, veterans and active duty military can stop by their nearest Texas Land & Cattle restaurant to get a free Shared Plate, or appetizer.  Bring your military ID to show your server. No coupon necessary.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse will be giving away Veterans Day free meals for lunch on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 to active, former, or retired military.

Free entrees include your choice of steak, country fried chicken, country fried sirloin, pulled pork, pork chop, cheeseburger, BBQ chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, grilled chicken salad, or chicken critter salad plus your choice of sides. You’ll also get a free coca-cola product, tea, or coffee.

You’ll need to bring in a military ID, Veterans Affairs card, or Discharge papers for proof of service. Dine-in only at a Texas Roadhouse near you.

T.G.I. Friday’s Veterans Day Free Lunch (nothing yet for 2014)

T.G.I. Friday’s will be having free lunch for all veterans at participating locations. Be sure to contact your local T.G.I Friday’s for details.

Bring in proof of military service (U.S. Uniforms Services ID Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a DD214, a photograph in uniform, or wear your uniform) and you’ll be able to choose any item off the lunch menu for free.

Veterans and active military members can get a free meal at Tijuana Flats on Tuesday, November 11.  Stop into your local Tijuana Flats to get your no strings attached Veterans Day free meal.

Tim Hortons Veterans Day Free Donut

All U.S. locations of Tim Hortons is giving away a free donut to all active and inactive U.S. military veterans on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

Veterans will need to be in uniform or show military ID. No purchase necessary.

Tony Roma’s Veterans Day Free Meal

The following Tony Roma locations are having free offerings on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11:

Green Bay, WI; Orlando (I-Drive), Jensen Beach, Sunny Isles, Doral, and Lee Vista, FL: Active military members and veterans can receive a free complimentary draft beer at these Tony Roma locations.

Encino, CA and Dubuque, IA: After providing proof of service, current military members as well as veterans can get a free meal voucher for their next visit that doesn’t expire until May 11, 2015.

Travel Centers of America Veterans Day Free Meal

This is only for CDL drivers who are also veterans.

All CDL drivers who are also military veterans will get a Veterans Day free meal at participating full service restaurants inside Travel Centers of America on Tuesday, November 11.

You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your free meal up to a $15 value.

Treat’s Highway 42 Cafe

Treat’s Highway 42 Cafe in Oregon will be having a free Veterans Day lunch for veterans 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tubby’s

Veterans and active duty military members can get a free small Grilled Steak N’ Cheese or Tubby’s Famous Subat their nearby Tubby’s.  Be sure to bring along your military ID. This offer is for carry-out only.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill

Tucanos Brazilian Grill is offering service men and women 4 opportunities to get 25% off their meal. Just visit Tucanos between November 8-11 to get a free skewer and punch card that can be used any time during the following 12 months. Individuals can also get a dessert certificate by using the hashtag #veteransday on Instagram any time during the month of November. Just be sure to upload the link via Facebook for it to be valid.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill

Veterans and active/inactive/retired military members can stop into Great Clips on Monday, November 11 and get a free haircut or pickup a free haircut card to use before the end of the year. Anyone can stop in to get their haircut and receive a free haircut card they can give to a veteran. These cards will also be available on their Facebook page.
