Reporting to RagingWire President Doug Adams and a member of the senior corporate executive team, Mr. Stone has responsibility for Critical Facilities Engineering, Design and Construction, and Data Center Operations, which includes Quality Assurance, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Design and Development, Safety, Electrical and Mechanical Construction, Critical Facilities Operations, Infrastructure Service Delivery, and Security.

Joel Stone has 25 years of broad-based operations, integration, transformation, and technical experience in the data center, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications industries. Most recently, Mr. Stone served as Vice President of Global Data Center Operations for CenturyLink, responsible for 60 data centers around the world and a global team of 600 people. Prior to CenturyLink, Joel was Group Operations Director at Global Switch in London, one of the largest wholesale data center providers in Europe, and spent nine years at Microsoft responsible for 16 data centers in North America, 300,000 servers, storage area networks (SANs), and network devices, and a team of nearly 500 internal and external resources. Earlier in his career, Joel engineered the build-out of two state-of-the-art data centers in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara) for Cable & Wireless Communications, and held senior technical roles at a subsidiary of Sylvan Learning Systems, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).
