MILAN, March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- World renown design institutions, NABA and Domus Academy located in the design capital of the world, Milan, Italy, are launching C-Park (c-park.com), an online multidisciplinary laboratory, which will function as a centre for innovation and experimentation sustaining projects of companies, institutions and associations.

C-Park is designed to activate and coordinate a creative work-force of lecturers, professionals, alumni and students in an effort to provide companies and institutions with design, analysis and research project services in the fields of design, business design, architecture, communication, graphics, fashion, media and visual arts.

This online portal aspires to facilitate the development of creative research lines and the meeting of specific design briefs, setting up ad-hoc work groups with an elevated innovative and creativity potential, along with professional excellence, within the creative community of NABA and Domus Academy's faculty, alumni and students.

C-Park is directed at Italian and international companies seeking new tools; at public and private institutions, associations and foundations operating both in Italy and abroad; as well as at research organizations, fab labs and public and private universities. It intends to develop symbiotic collaborations aimed at creating applied research and design partnerships.

C-Park will promote collaboration with the creative resources of two of the most prestigious design schools worldwide, NABA and Domus Academy. The schools, which have been operating for more than thirty years on the global market of idea exploration and creation, bring together Italian and international students and lecturers to experiment daily within the intersection and enrichment of academic knowledge and design culture.

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, is an education Academy focusing on arts and design: it is the largest private Academy in Italy, and the first one to have been recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), back in 1980. As a recognized Academy, NABA offers academic diplomas equivalent to first and second level university degrees in the fields of design, fashion design, graphics and communication, multimedia arts, scenography, and visual arts. The Academy was founded in Milan in 1980 upon the private initiative of Ausonio Zappa, Guido Ballo and Gianni Colombo; its objective always was to challenge the rigid academic tradition and introduce visions and languages that are closer to contemporary artistic practices and to the system of arts and creative professions. In 2009 NABA joined the Laureate International Universities, an international network including more than 80 accredited institutions in 29 countries offering first and second level university degrees to 1.000.000 students around the world. NABA was selected by Frame and included in the Masterclass Frame Guide to the 30 World's Leading Graduate Design, Architecture and Fashion Schools, as well as by Domus Magazine as one of Europe's Top 100 schools of Architecture and Design.
