MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 12, 2016) - Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and PSA Airlines, Inc. announced today that the airline's fleet has grown to 100 CRJ Series regional jets. The 100th aircraft, which is one of 24 CRJ900 regional jets ordered by American Airlines, Inc. (American) in December 2014, will be operated under the American Eagle regional brand. PSA Airlines' fleet is entirely comprised of CRJ200, CRJ700 and CRJ900 aircraft.

A delivery ceremony, held today at Bombardier's Mirabel, Québec facility, was attended by senior executives and employees of American, PSA Airlines and Bombardier.

"We are pleased to add the 100th CRJ Series aircraft to our growing fleet," said Dion Flannery, President, PSA Airlines. "The CRJ Series regional jets are instrumental in allowing PSA to fulfil its mission of transporting satisfied customers to their destinations safely and on time.

"We are proudly becoming one of the largest regional service Providers for American -- the world's largest airline, and we're also on track to soon become the operator of the world's largest all-Bombardier fleet of commercial aircraft," added Mr. Flannery.

"PSA Airlines' 100th aircraft is a testament to the performance of the airline's fleet of exclusively CRJ Series aircraft, and to the strength of the relationship we have built with American over more than 15 years," said Fred Cromer, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "We are proud of this collaboration and we congratulate PSA on its growing fleet."
