If you have The Hyatt Credit Card from Chase, every year on your cardmember anniversary you will receive a free night certificate that is valid at Category 1 – 4 Hyatt properties.

Hyatt has 7 categories of hotels, so the certificate won’t let you get free nights at some of the very best Hyatt hotels, but there are many in the range of the certificate that can offer you great value for a free night.

We have gone through Hyatt’s Category 4 properties and determined some of the best hotels in the U.S. (big cities and for vacations), Asia, Caribbean/Mexico/Central America, Europe, and South America for you to use your certificate at. Of course, there are plenty of other good properties that the certificate is valid at so make sure you check other Category 4 hotels. Or, even check Category 1 – 3 for good deals like the Grand Hyatt in Denver.

These Category 4 hotels can also be booked for 15,000 Hyatt points per night or 7,500 Hyatt points + $100.

Here are ten of the best Hyatt Category 4 hotels to use your free night certificate:

US

Big cities

Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco

San Francisco is well worth a visit but notoriously expensive for locals and visitors alike. While the Hyatt Centric won’t be the fanciest hotel on the block, it’s a nice hotel with solid ratings and close by many things you might want to visit. The Hyatt Centric is only a five minute walk from the shops and restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf and only three blocks from Ghirardelli Square. This hotel commonly costs between $250 and $500 per night if you were to pay for a night with cash.

Grand Hyatt Washington

The Grand Hyatt Washington offers a great location in Washington D.C. to get your exploration on. The hotel is located about an 11 minute walk from the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and there are many other Smithsonian museums within that walking distance as well. An added bonus – Smithsonian museums don’t charge an entrance fee which will help keep your weekend even cheaper! It isn’t uncommon for this hotel to cost more than $500 per night.

Vacation

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa

If the beach and warm weather is more your style, you can’t go wrong with a stay at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. This hotel is located in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida and is well-loved by guests as evidenced by the hotel’s 4.5/5 rating. Keep in mind, this hotel does charge a $30 per night resort fee, which you will still need to pay if you redeem a free night here. Even so, that is amazingly cheap compared with the hotel’s cash rates! Cash rates are typically between $350 and $450 per night.

Hyatt Place Park City

If you would rather hit the slopes than the beach, the Hyatt Place Park City might be the hotel for you. While it’s not as fancy as many others on this list, it puts you within four miles of Park City Mountain Resort so you can roll out of bed, eat breakfast (which is free for all guests!), and be on the mountain in 30 minutes or less! This hotel is also all (junior size) suites, which makes it a great family hotel. If you want to stay a few extra nights, don’t worry because cash rates won’t bankrupt you here. Nightly rates tend to be between $150 and $250 during the winter months.

Asia

There is a restaurant on-site as well as both indoor and outdoor pools which will make for a great way to escape the afternoon heat. Nightly rates typically range between $220 and $300 here.

Caribbean/Mexico/Central America
