This is first time Leicester is playing in European competition after Christmas. In their first two away matches this season in Champions League, they kept clean sheet against Copenhagen and Club Brugge KV, but they were obliterated by Porto with 5:0. Two out of three previous European campaigns of Leicester were ended by Spanish teams. Leicester have failed to find the net in six previous Premier League matches, and they also lost against Millwall FC on Saturday in FA Cup, despite hosts were given a red card.
Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli: "Leicester are the kind of team I don't want to be allowed to go toe-to-toe with us because if it's an open, end-to-end game they can hurt us."
Claudio Ranieri, Leicester manager says: "Sevilla could be the turning point, it could be everything. We can lose – it’s OK, nothing happens. But if we win, if we do a very good game, something inside could change. We need one match like this."
