34 exhibitors will showcase more than 500 of the world’s best known and most prestigious gemstone and watch brand from local and international exhibitors.

Doha, Qatar: This year’s highly anticipated 11th annual Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2014, will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre starting this Tuesday. Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Minister of Interior, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, this event is sure to be the highlight of the month.

Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority in partnership with q.media events and for the first time – Fira Barcelona, the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will host 34 exhibitors from the State of Qatar and all across the world in nearly 20,000 square meters of space. Guests should expect to see exhibitors showcasing over 500 of the most luxurious gemstone and prestigious watch brands.

Among the local exhibitors is well known Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons. Set to premier the brand “ENICAR,” this will be available at 3 Qatari outlets. Enicar was found in 1913 in La Chaux de Fonds Switzerland. When owner Artiste Racine spelled his name backwards, he created a timeless brand that has been recognized for its high quality over the 90 years of its existence. Due to the quick success and the expansion of the firm in the mid 20’s it was moved to Lengnau, where the firm started making its own movements. All Enicar watches are genuine Swiss Made and attendees to the DJWE will have a chance to see collections available in genuine diamond versions.

Also proud to be participating in this year’s DJWE, is international designer David Webb. Operating in New York since 1948, this jeweler offers a range of high class jewellery. DJWE attendees will also get an opportunity to view an exciting range of jewellery and watches from internationally renowned jeweler and watchmaker, Mouawad.  Unveiling a series of sublime novelties for even the most discerning visitors, these pieces are truly a testimony to the brand’s excellence in creativity and craftsmanship.
