UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development will be organising two French Pavilions at the 2014 edition of the World Future Energy Summit and the International Water Summit to be held from 20 to 22 January in Abu Dhabi. These pavilions will showcase major corporations like AREVA, VEOLIA, GDF SUEZ, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT as well as remarkably innovative French SMEs and intermediate sized companies.

Drawing on the experience and expertise of French companies, Ubifrance and its partners (the Embassy of France in the United Arab Emirates, ADEME, FRANCE SOLAR INDUSTRY and the National Association for Renewable Energy) will also be hosting conference cycles on topics such as geothermal energy, sustainable cities and solar storage solutions.

The WFES & IWS have become two key events for the renewable energy and water sectors. This year’s edition will feature an added event which will be dedicated to waste management solutions (EcoWaste). Dynamic and successful French companies in these various business sectors have been drawn to the diverse and interesting projects currently underway in the Gulf region.

Ranking amongst the world’s best in the water and waste sectors and enjoying a leading position on the European renewable energy market, French companies are at the forefront of innovation and are constantly striving to develop better and more efficient solutions. This is achieved with support from a vibrant ecosystem composed of competitive clusters and research centres. The cutting edge of French innovation will be on display in Abu Dhabi.
