Visitors will go through an interactive in-store and on-line mobile purchasing journey and will be able to try out a comprehensive mobile commerce user experience. The mobile channel has become one of the most critical areas of development for various financial institutions and retailers looking to strengthen the direct relationship to their end customers. For the first time in the Middle East, Gemalto is showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of mobile commerce solutions to engage with shoppers from check-in to check out.
The LinqUs Mobile Wallet is Gemalto’s multi-channel application for both in-store and remote payments. Shoppers can ‘check-in’ to a shop through a choice of prompted or automatic interactions, be it by tapping their smartphone on a contactless reader, or by location-based detection. Coupons can be prompted to the shopper, which are downloaded and aggregated in the mobile wallet application. The LinqUs Mobile Wallet then provides the ability to pay securely using the most adapted payment methods within the particular retail environment. To demonstrate what is possible to enhance the consumer shopping experience, Gemalto is demonstrating an innovative shopping assistance application that facilitates shoppers to self-scan products they want to buy into a virtual basket, create personalized shopping lists, as well as conduct self check-out.
