Upon following said link, Cat Republican officials discovered that "Lorien" had simply copied and pasted large amounts of information from the Cat Republic microwikia page, and changed only names and certain words (like "Co-Presidents" to "President", which itself had been missed and "Co-Presidents" could be found in multiple places on the page). The Co-Presidency was extremely offended by this carbon-copy micronation and responded to the note stating that they refused to ever recognize Lorien as sovereign in any way. It is the reason this list exists. The page would later be taken down and the group identifying as "Lorien" would disband.

Favored Drum Corps of the Cat Republic are Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment, The Cavaliers, Madison Scouts, Boston Crusaders, Blue Knights, and Crossmen, among many others. Seeing as all of these and more were performing in Indianapolis (as well as Pioneer, which an American friend was included in), they deemed it would be a fun idea to attend.

**Mario Campbell was a junior student in Ferndale High School when he suffered an asthma attack when practicing for track inside. He fell and hit his head and the ambulence did not make it to the nearest hospital in time to save him. He was a very happy and talanted young man, who was very passionate about writing and music. Mario was friend to many Cat Republicans, he even knew Co-President Kelly personally. Co-President Kelly declared the day after his death (on which it rained quite heavily and much of the community was in ruins, mourning) should be used to remember such a passionate young man lost so young. The following year Mario's parents were presented with Mario's high school diploma, and at the graduation ceremony a plaque was dedicated to hang in Ferndale High School. The plaque was paid for entirely by student and comminuty donations and bears an engraving of Mario based on a drawing the highly skilled drawing teacher, Jerome Lemaneu, had drawn, as well as a few of Mario's favorite quotes.
