We are seeking a Benefits Manager to join the ADP team!
Responsible for the management and compliance of the health, life, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, disability insurance, voluntary benefits and other benefit programs.
- Acts as a Benefits Solutions Group subject matter expert in plan design, administration and regulatory compliance.
- Ensures compliance with Section 125 Internal Revenue Code, FSA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, USERRA and any other applicable city, county, state & federal benefit laws.
- Collaborates with internal constituents (legal, marketing, operations and technology teams, sales and service leadership), on strategic benefit strategies, and vendors in the strategy, development, and implementation of health and welfare programs.
- Directs operational implementation and incorporation of regulations into new and existing benefit products and offerings.
- Defines and manages policies and procedures that support the organizations benefits offerings.
- Effectively communicates benefits regulatory requirements and procedural impact to the organization to applicable functional departments.
- Manage product implementation, renewal negotiations and adherence to timelines, develop and deliver benefit plan trainings to associates.
- Develops benefits business rules and standard operating procedures.
- Provides consulting/technical advice on complex issues in their area of expertise.
Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- 5+ years related experience in managing complex benefit program, consulting, health plan compliance and/or account executive role
- CEBS or similar certification a plus.
- Experience with vendor and product management, including negotiating, designing and the administration of benefit plans.
- Knowledge of benefits legislation and an analytical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent project management, communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to combine creative and analytical thinking to support business objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Poven ability to guide, motivate, and mentor team members
- Must possess good technical skills: e.g., MS Office, Excel, HRIS systems.
- Experience with Access, data analytics a plus
- Travel 20-25%
