MHTA — Comcast has announced that Troy Lupe has been named the company’s new Vice President of Field Operations for the Twin Cities Region.

In his new role, Lupe will oversee a team of nearly 600 employees in the company’s technical operations (TechOps) and communication operations (CommOps) groups, serving more than 600,000 customers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri and Kansas.

“In the past year, Troy has played a key role in a number of major employee- and customer-facing initiatives,” said Jeff Freyer, Region Vice President, Comcast Twin Cities. “Troy’s experience and leadership will be a valuable asset as we continue to focus on our top priority of improving the customer experience and building on our reputation as an employer of choice and great place to work for all employees.”

Lupe joined Comcast in June 2014 as Director of Technical Operations. He previously spent more than 15 years working in various roles within the residential and commercial broadband, cable, satellite, security and telephony industry, including MASTEC Inc. in Denver and Multiband Corporation in Minneapolis.

Lupe has earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Marketing; he is based at the company’s Twin Cities Region headquarters in downtown St. Paul.
