DESCRIPTION
· Responsible for performing testing and calibration routines/services for the quick-turn around of equipment
· Responsible for ensuring smooth flow of equipment through the entire process chain
· Responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the Laboratory
· Shall execute the daily work of calibration on measurement equipment
· General and issue of final reports
· Liaise with client on technical issues when necessary
· Maintain draft report format/template
· Assist in the development and extension of new calibration scope
· Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
· Manage timely trouble shooting and assist customers as necessary
· Build and foster collaboration with internal teams involved in service delivery
· Maintain both clients and company’s equipment in good order and condition
· Maintain laboratory setup, procedures, calibration data and housekeeping
· Study and set up new calibration work procedure and scope as assigned
· Be provided with proper analysis training internally and externally
· Perform work scope under the guidelines of ISO17025
REQUIREMENTS
· Possess minimum of ITE, Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
· Preferably with 3 years in equipment measurement/calibration
· Experience in Temperature, pressure, humidity instruments and electrical/electronic instrument calibration
· PC Skills: Microsoft Excel and Word
· Able to interact with all levels of management
· Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Technical knowledge and experience in related field
· Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously
· Fluent English and local language
· Experience in Singlas Calibration/ISO I7025 is an added advantage
