Never -before-seen photos of Marilyn Monroe with a mystery bump have been released. It is claimed she was pregnant at the time the images were taken on July 8, 1960 outside the Fox Studios in New York ,as she completed her tests for her last film The Misfits.

The star's closest friend Frieda Hull - who had kept the secret pictures for decades - is believed to have revealed that the man who had made Marilyn pregnant was handsome French movie star Yves Montand.

The two had appeared in a film together called Let’s Make Love.Marilyn was married to the playwright Arthur Miller at the time.

The world exclusive images of the tragic actress were auctioned in Hollywood in November last year from the estate of Frieda Hull and sold for just $2,240.Hull, dubbed them the ‘pregnant slides’ a reference to a shocking secret the siren kept right up until her death.

Tony Michaels, 56, the man who bought the colour slides was a close friend and next door neighbour of Frieda Hull.He reveals that Hull had confided in him about Monroe’s secret pregnancy and claims the ‘pregnant slides’ are genuine evidence that she was with child but sadly she later lost the baby during a hospital visit.

Tony told Daily Mail

"Frieda was very proud of those slides and she was very proud to keep them a secret until the day she died. But she told me the story behind them, that Marilyn got pregnant by Yves Montand.”
