PGi, the world's largest dedicated provider of collaboration software and services, announced the appointment of Pat Harper to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Harper will lead PGi's global technology initiatives, including product management, product design, research and development. At his start with PGi, Harper was the general manager of the Xpedite business unit. He became SVP of Information Technology at EasyLink until its eventual sale to Open Text, where he served as CIO. Pat has a strong track record of delivering results in his nearly 30 years as a technology leader.

As Harper steps into his new role, former CTO, David Guthrie, will be transitioning into his new advisory position on the PGi Board of Directors. In his new role, Guthrie will stay connected to PGi's technology efforts and strategies.
