The deal will combine two leading companies designated by Gartner as ‘Cool Vendors’ in Mobile App Development to present the most comprehensive enterprise mobility platform, based on the richest IP and patent portfolio, in the industry.

The transaction has been unanimously approved by the Boards of Directors of both PowWow Mobile and StarMobile. The deal is expected to close within the next thirty days and is subject to approval by the respective shareholders and other customary closing conditions. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
