79. The Cabinet has approved recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission on pay & pensions. It recommended 23.55 % hike in pay & allowances of Govt. employees. The minimum pay for Govt. employees to be set at 18000 rees per month & the maximum pay is recommended to be 225000 rees per month.
