Candidates must be aged between 21 to 30 years to be considered eligible. Age limit will not be relaxed for general applicants. But age limit will be relaxed for reserved candidates. However, to avail quota related facilities, applicants will have to disclose valid caste or other relevant certificates to the authority. Salary for selected candidates will be as per SBI rules.

Selection process will be based on written test and interview. Written exam pattern will be different for Clerk and PO category. There will be single paper of objective type for Clerk category. Questions will be set on 5 different categories: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Marketing Aptitude and Computer Awareness.

For PO category, there will be two paper: MCQ and Descriptive. Objective questions will be set on English, General Knowledge, Data Analysis and Reasoning. Full mark of the objective paper will be 200. Descriptive paper will contain questions on letter, paragraph writing, essay writing and reading comprehension. Full mark of the descriptive paper will be 50.
It is advised that applicants take proper preparation for the written test according to the exam pattern and syllabus prescribed because the exam will be extremely competitive. To be successful in the exam, candidates will need solid preparation to be ahead than the rest.
SBI Clerk & PO Exam Admit Card/Call Letter 2016
Admit card for the written test will be issued after screening of applications submitted by the candidates. Those who will not meet the prerequisite eligibility will not be able to sit for the written exam. SBI PO Admit Card will be issued at least 15 days before the exam date. Hall ticket will be available on the official website of SBI and candidates will be able to download call letter from the website by using their registration number or date of birth. Initially candidates are selected based on the Online test which will be conducted by SBI. A cut off mark will be set, depending on the cut off mark of qualifying the written test, an interview will be held. Those who can clear the interview will be in the final selected list.
SBI Clerk 2016 Age Criteria:
Applicant’s min. age limit is 21 years and max.28 years. Just like any other exam there is a age relaxation as listed below.

The examination will be of 200 marks which will contain multiple choice questions in 2 hours. There will be 50 questions of 1 mark each in every section. The written examination will include the following fields:
