It's semi-traditional to include a plush toy in someone's Easter basket; a good idea to take up space that would otherwise be filled with empty calories. For young children, the toy is normally a bunny rabbit or a baby chick or lamb. But for older children and adults, you might consider an Easter gift that's more personal, more attuned to their interests, even if it would scare someone else. Those plush toys are available all over the internet, if you know where to look.

1. Honey Badger

Honey Badger don't care, and if you don't, either, you might be interested in a Honey Badger Talking Plush from ThinkGeek. This one is R-rated, with six phrases from the viral video that children should not hear.

If you prefer a honey badger that doesn't speak, check out the child-friendly version from Wild Republic. It comes without the bared teeth. And if your memes go further back, you can still get a Weebl's Badger Badger.

2. Pusheen

Pusheen is the delightful cat from the webcomic Pusheen. Pusheen is now available in plush in three sizes: 7 inch, 12 inch, and the big 20 inch cat!

3. Shironeko

Shiro, or Shironeko, is the Japanese cat also known as "Basket Cat" in English. He is content to sit still anywhere and have anything balanced upon him -including other cats! There is now a plush version of Shiro, for sale at 13,440 yen which is about $160 US. You can order, but don't count on shipping from Japan in time for Easter.

Can you tell which is the real cat and which is the plush?

4. Grumpy Cat

Folks love the latest internet cat superstar Grumpy Cat, and Etsy has a ton of plush versions. The cat shown is from the Etsy store MyDreamHorses, based in Latvia.

5. Breaking Bad

How nice would it be to snuggle up with Walt and Jesse, your favorite drug manufacturers? Sadly, these Breaking Bad products will not be available until June, but you can pre-order now.

6. Walking Dead

However, you can get some zombies and zombie-killers -oops, I meant walkers and walker-killers, from the TV series The Walking Dead. The only characters in the set are Rick and Michonne, plus two walkers and a couple of headstones, each sold separately.

7. Big Bang Theory

For fans of The Big Bang Theory, here's a cuddly Leonard doll for your Easter basket. There's also a kitty plush doll from the TV series, and a Sheldon plush you can add to the collection when he's back in stock.

8. Loki

Although Thor looked good in the movie, his evil brother Loki makes a fine plush doll, handcrafted by Alice Rose and available through Etsy. He comes without pants, which may be a bug or a feature.

9. Frida Kahlo

Introduce a little culture into your Easter basket with a plush version of artist Frida Kahlo, eyebrow and all. She's handmade by Sarah at the Etsy shop PalookaHandmade.

10. Assassin's Creed Ezio

You can find plush versions of the most adorable video game characters like Mario, but less-than-cute characters have fans, too! For the Assassin's Creed fan, here's Ezio made in soft polar fleece and felt by Rainbow Flare and sold at the Etsy shop LotsOfLittleTrinkets.

11. Mass Effect Thane

From the same shop, here's the assassin character Thane from the game Mass Effect. Isn't he just adorable?

12. Wil Wheaton

Can you imagine what it's like to have a plush doll for sale in your own likeness? It's as hard as imagining being an internet icon and former Star Trek cast member. The Li'l Wil Wheaton Plushie is just the thing to cuddle up with while you sleep.

13. PSY

When you have a music video with a billion views on YouTube, it's inevitable that your likeness will be enshrined in a squeezable soft doll. You can purchase PSY doing his "Gangnam Style" dance from Amazon.
