Although, the company has decided to extend their support for Blackberry OS/Blackberry OS, Nokia Symbian and Nokia S40 smartphones until June 2017. Although , most of us generally need not worry because the specifications that are being considered are featured on devices that are ancient. Especially, those devices that use older versions of Android and iOS.
Support on WhatsApp will end on devices that running Android 2.1 and Android 2.2. Windows phones that are currently running Windows 7 will also suffer the same fate. Apple owners will have to ditch their iPhone 3GS or devices that are still running iOS 6. According to Google, there are only 0.1 percent devices that are currently running Android Froyo. If your Android phone is running IceCream Sandwich or Jelly Bean you have nothing to worry about for the time being.
