Description:
We are an equal opportunity IT company, with our headquarters based in Milton Keynes, UK that specialises in the design and development of K2 and Microsoft based process-driven business solutions. We are currently looking to employ an intermediate .NET/K2 developer whose main responsibility would be to assist with the design and development of cutting edge workflow solutions and web/mobile applications for our customers.
The candidate will be based in Pretoria, South Africa. The position offers the opportunity to work from home for a large percentage of the time. The position also offers international travelling opportunities as well as the possibility of inter-company transfer to the UK.
Salary: R25 – 30 K TCC salary per month market related and negotiable depending on candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. Medical aid & Pension Fund included.
Qualifications required:
Matric (Grade 12).
IT degree or 3 year National IT Diploma from reputable university (degree will get preference).
Skills & experience required:
Experience with .NET, and MS SQL
Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or proven track record with application development
Strong C# .NET development skills
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
Experience/understanding of integrated disparate systems
Experience with K2
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with web applications – HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
Experience with mobile applications – Either native or through a wrapper like Xamarin/PhoneGap
Understanding /Experience with network infrastructure and security (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory)
Business process/workflow analysis and/or training experience a plus
Advantageous business skills and personal qualities:
Strong in-person and written customer communication skills
Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Ability to self-educate and pick up new skills quickly
Exposure to a lot of different industries
Job Functions:
Designing, developing, installing, testing and deploying process driven application projects
Documentation of technology implementations
Work with onshore and offshore staff
Execute tasks as per design and development methodology
Contribute to library of internal and customer-facing technical content
Conducting independent technical research using company supplied tools, databases, knowledge bases, etc. in order to find solutions to meet customer requirements
Configuring and developing custom code using .NET technologies that allow the product to meet the business needs of the customer
Daily communication with International staff
