We have been in our home for a few years now and have settled in nicely.  But, in a year or two we will need to start considering whether to relocate in order to play the school catchment game which I hear is a nightmare for secondary schools.  Having an interest in property and assisting others in their search for properties I have just come across something that will be a valuable money saver when you are ready to sell your home.  The whole process of selling a property can be a bit of a headache and that’s before we even think about the process of the move!!!!  Get that nurofen plus at the ready.

Estate agencies are everywhere offering varying fees and qualities of service the problem is unless you do your homework you could end up paying higher fees then you need to for a poor service.

Let’s face it how many of us actually compare each estate agency’s packages in our local area before settling with one to sell a property?  It’s like the spec savers advert “should have gone to” but you always seem to come across a better estate agency after you have sold your property, typical!!!

Compared to the sort of things we do compare (credit cards, insurance etc) where we’re saving tens of pounds, comparing estate agents can save a huge amount. Think about it, if you’re saving 0.1% on an estate agent and you’re selling your property for 300k, you’re saving £300.  That’s equivalent to a fabulous pair of designer shoes or designer handbag, now that would be lovely.  In many cases you will save over 1% of the fee, that’s now equivalent to a nice holiday.  It’s looking better by the minute.  Let’s face it saving money is always a bonus but it is also important to be clued up about what you are getting for the fee you are paying.  In some case paying that little more can also work in your favour if the package provided by the estate agent is more beneficial.

Netagent.com give clients the opportunity the chance to compare estate agents based on fees and services offered, and then ‘request a valuation’ from any of the agents without having to worry about getting pushy sales calls from agents.  The question therein lies with us do we want to save real money, or would we prefer a meerkat toy?

Estate agents do a lot of work in order to sell a house but it doesn’t give them the right to charge excessive fees.  Netagent.com are not estate agents.  They are in a way introducers, a go between that will help you find the right estate agent for you, save you money and get the best service for your fee.  Sounds great?  It sure does and once you have decided on some local estate agents based on fees and services offered you can then ‘request a valuation’ from these agents.  The agents will contact you to arrange a valuation.  You can then use the information obtained from each to decide which agent you want to use.  You won’t even have to let down the unsuccessful agents as Netagent.com will do that for you.

This isn’t a sales spin either check out Trust Pilot!

There are pages and pages of delighted users that have awarded the company 4 & 5*’s.

So you now see why this company attracted my interest.  They are not going around singing their own praises with no evidence to back this up, the consumer in this instance has spoken and they all seem to love the company.  Here is just one of the comments from Trust Pilot.

Would you consider using an online comparison site for estate agents like Netagent.com?  Having done my research, it’s a no brainer!  (for those that haven’t had their coffee yet, that’s a big yes!).

In collaboration with Netagent.com all views expressed are mine (I did my research!).
