Recently my friend Carolyn, who is an independent Scentsy consultant, offered to send me some samples of some Scentsy scents, as well as some samples of some new products. As soon as the box arrived, I opened it up right away, I couldn’t wait to see what she included!
The first thing I noticed was a sample of Vanilla Suede Washer Whiffs. They looked like the scented crystals you would find in stores that you add to your washer. The Vanilla Suede is a classic vanilla scent with rich amber and hints of sandalwood and spice — a subtly masculine fragrance. I used this when washing a load of washed mixed with Tony and my clothes because, even thought it is a masculine scent, it is not overpowering. They are more expensive than other scented crystal laundry additives, but the Scentsy Washer Wiffs are available in a much wider array of scents and would make a great stocking stuffer for anyone on your list!

I haven’t tried the shower cream yet because I keep forgetting to put it in the bathroom, but the other lotions and butter are awesome! The body butter is thicker and more moisturizing then the lotion. I think my favorite scent that I got to sample was the Skinny Dippin! It smells like fresh green apples, melons and juicy pears!
I think Tony’s mom would love the French Lavender products – I am thinking of putting together a little basket of the products for her!
Also in the box was sample bar scents of Baked Apple Pie, Autumn Sunset, Frosted Ginger Cookie, Sticky Cinnamon Bun, Red Candy Apple, and Clove and Cinnamon. They all smelled wonderful, and since I needed some new bars for my warmer for fall/winter I decided to place an order!
I knew Autumn Sunset was definitely going to be one I ordered – it is actually one of their top 10 fragrances! It smells like Apples, pumpkins, fall leaves and spices. Tony loves this scent, and even after the warmer had been off for a few hours, commented that it still smelled really nice in our home! I also ordered Pumpkin Marshmallow which smells like sticky, sweet marshmallow spooned onto fresh-baked pumpkin and wrapped in a graham cracker crust. This one smells really yummy but I haven’t melted it yet. Tony thinks this one smells very sweet. Last but not least, I ordered a Christmas Cottage Scentsy Bar. This one smells like Valencia oranges, raspberries, cloves, and spices. It reminds me of old wood homes, surrounded by trees and lots of falling snow and a fireplaces going on the inside, like you see in Christmas movies. I imagine that the home smells just like this bar.
In addition to the 3 Scentsy Bars I ordered, I also ordered a new Warmer, and two wraps to go with it! I ordered the Glowing Core Silhouette Scentsy Warmer, which is beautiful on its own, as well as the Linden Full-Size Scentsy Warmer Wrap and the Snowburst Scentsy Warmer Wrap. The Linden wrap matches our living room decor, which is all different shades of brown, perfectly. I got the Snowburst wrap for when it gets closer to Christmas!
