Perla : Freedom fighter Veer Savarkar birth anniversary was celebrated on Wednesday at Sathyanarayana mandira, Perla.
Speaking on the occasion Yuva Brigade Karnataka State Convener Nithyananda Vivekavamshi said that Savarkar has led a painful life to fetch freedom. His life should become a role model to the youths of new generation.
“Even after experiencing ‘Kaala-paani’ punishment he hasn’t stepped back from the freedom fight. Such daring personality he was. Yuva Brigade should work on this basis to keep our country safe,” he said.
Yuva Brigade District Convener Krishna Prasad Katukukke, District Spoke person Shreekrishna Upadhyaya and others were present.
