The annual
Second Look Weekend event will kick off on Friday, April 25, bringing accepted
medical students from around the country to The Ohio State University for an
opportunity to visit campus and explore the world of the OSU College of
Medicine student.
During their two days on campus, the 100 or so accepted students will
participate in a variety of activities, including a tour of campus that
includes The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the
Clinical Skills Center, several OSU research facilities and the Ohio Union.
They will learn about support programs and student life opportunities offered
by the college and various student organizations, meet some of the college
deans, faculty, staff and students, enjoy a virtual tour of Columbus and make
an on-site visit to the Ohio Statehouse.
