Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating allocated workload, delivering high quality care which is culturally and religiously appropriate, solving problems to meet emergent needs, preparing the recovery room and providing senior support to other members of staff.
Essential Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Post-basic Certificate in post anaesthesia care or similar critical care experience Nursing.
• 5+ years of care planning and delivery of care to the post-operative patients experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Knowledge in care planning and delivery of care in an orthopaedic /acute care and/or ambulatory care nursing environment.
• Licensed/Registered to practice professional nursing in home country and following application on arrival in Qatar, licensure with the Supreme Council for Health, Qatar.
• Current Basic Life support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate or ability and willingness to attain such once hired.
