Service Area Overview:

Northside Hospital offers state-of-the-art Emergency Services at each of its hospitals, providing emergency care to any medical, surgical or obstetrical patient. At each of our three hospitals, a multi-disciplinary team offers high quality, compassionate care. With HealthExpress, patients with less severe injuries (determined at triage) are seen by a registered nurse, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, to expedite care and get them home quicker. More than 137,000 patients are treated annually across our three hospital locations.

Position Description:

The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations of the assigned departments. The Coordinator will act as a liaison between their assigned departments and other departments, as well as direct and coordinate the daily activities of the assigned departments including personnel, patient care and regulatory compliance.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
3. Ability to work effectively with various types of people
4. Minimum three (3) years experience in Emergency Services with recognized competence as a clinical practitioner.
5. National certification in emergency nursing.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues.
7. Certified in CPR, body mechanics and safety education.
