Title: Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene

Location: Baltimore, MD

Salary: $41,995-$68,074

Position Description:

Under the general direction of the Associate Dean, the Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene will be responsible for the instruction of students in the discipline of Dental Hygiene. The Assistant Professor will also participate in departmental and college wide activities in keeping with the mission and vision of Baltimore City Community College. Essential functions includes: Teaching, Individualized Instruction, Assessment Development and Analysis, Curriculum Design and Development, Professional Development and Institutional Advancement.

Requirements:

Licensure as an active registered dental hygienist in the State of Maryland (or eligibility)

CPR certification

Yearly PPD (tuberculin) testing

Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene

Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in the Academic Dental Hygiene educator role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree

5 years teaching experience in the Academic Dental Hygiene educator role
