HealthCare Simulations, LLC (HCS) is a small, veteran-owned emergency medical simulations business based in Portsmouth, Virginia. HCS was founded in 2013 with one goal; to enhance emergency medical training through cost-effective, gamified simulations that truly improve the training experience. Since then, we have aimed to create a line of products that do just that.
Along the way, we realized how many great opportunities there are to help our surrounding communities. As a result, we chose to produce our products with commercial off-the-shelf technology so that it is affordable for everyone, everywhere. In addition, we are taking the time to leave our footprint on the local community by sponsoring health initiatives and expositions, providing free CPR training to anyone who attends.
Dynamic Nursing Assistant (DNA) :
Dynamic Nursing Assistant (DNA) is a web-based nurse training application. DNA uses avatars and video based patients to provide nurse-patient interactions to 1st and 2nd year nursing students. DNA monitors student interactions, medical record keeping, and activity completion, providing administrators with essential feedback on areas for improvement and individualized training needs.
DNA is also available as a pre-populated application, meaning you can rest assured that your students are learning skills integral to their future careers.
