Two elderly people were injured — one of them critically — during a fire Sunday morning on the 8th floor of a high-rise building for senior citizens in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side. An 85-year-old suffered burns to 25 percent of the body and was taken in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
