RF85 treatment used by Anderson Manufacturing on their rifles drastically simplifies the cleaning process. No noxious solvents or caustic chemicals needed.

With the Anderson AM-15 rifle treated with the RF85 process, the gun never needs to be cleaned with cleaning solution-only wiped out with a moist cloth and then dry cloth. Repeat-the action of this weapon never needs to be cleaned in the traditional manner with harsh solvents and should never be oiled, except for the use of a light oil in the barrel and chamber for storage. This will not harm the RF85 treatment. The care of your rifle is up to you!

Follow the steps below to thoroughly clean your Anderson rifle:

Soak Bolt Assembly Parts in soap (liquid detergent) and water for 5 minutes.

Wipe the Upper Receiver and Lug area clean to make sure it is free of dirt.

Do the same to the Lower Receiver including the trigger well, magazine well and all other interior pockets.

Use a bore brush through the barrel.
