Basic overview of the Touhou Items Mod:
The Touhou Items Mod was originally found on a Japanese Minecraft forum, althought thankfully someone found this amazing mod and created a separate thread. Only due to this separate thread can we now truly understand and appreciate this amazing modification! Touhou is a Japanese game series, and this mod replicates some of the items into Minecraft. This mod does a great job of somewhat pushing the boundaries of what we expect to be possible within our Minecraft game, so what are you waiting for? Go and download it now!
How to use the Touhou Items Mod:
The basis of all of your creations and crafting in this mod are ‘Pearls’. You can create different colored pearls that you can then use as the base for the rest of mod’s components. For example, surrounding an Ender Pearl with Glowstone Dust with give you a yellow pearl; and doing the same with Obsidian or Redstone will give you Black and Red Pearls.

Key Features of the Touhou Items Mod:
The ‘Bullet’ Weapons are the set of weapons that are focused on long ranged attacks. Included in this category is the likes of the ‘Jeweled Branch of Hourai’, ‘Jewel from the Dragon’s Neck’, ‘Redstone of Aja’, ‘Yuyoko’s Fan and the ‘Mini Hakkero’ which launches ‘Fire Charges’.
The Fairy is a new flying mob that is introduced in to the game, they are a deadly foe, but if you are to kill one they will drop ‘Powerup items’ and ‘Point Items’, which are used frequently throughout this mod.
This mob really does have so much more to offer, the particle physics and general animation of this mod seems to push what is possible in your Minecraft game.

How to Install
How to Install the Touhou Items Mod:
First of all, you need to download and install the latest version of Minecraft Forge.
Download Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.7.4 by clicking on this bullet point.
Next, download the Touhou Items Mod and drag and drop the .zip files into the ‘resoucepacks’ folder of your Minecraft directory.
Launch Minecraft and enjoy your new mod!
