Rochester Firefighters responded this afternoon for the report of a kitchen fire on Hawley St. Engine 7 went on location with smoke showing from the first floor of a two story wood frame. Battalion 2 assumed command and reported a working fire. Engine 1 responded as the RIC and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
