In 2016 Mayerson Academy published more than 80 blog posts covering events, news, new product launches, life events and partnerships. We began highlighting character strengths – a new one each month – beginning in September with Bravery. We launched an online Orton-Gillingham course. We saw our Thriving Learning Communities with Happify program profiled in Education Week. We published 7 case studies about our work on the ground bringing positive character strengths to education. And we dug deeply to uncover tools and strategies to help students #ChooseKindness amidst chaos. Following are our most widely read and shared posts for the year:

Jillian Darwish explores how experiencing a life altering disruption presents an opportunity to uncover and deploy all 24 character strengths – not just those that each of us would consider our signature strengths – to forge a new path to something new and positive.

Strengths with a Twist. Karen Graves writes about her experience with Be Like Brit Foundation and the resiliency of the island nation.

Flip Your Switch to the Positive. Lynn Ochs writes about how school principals and superintendents can flip the switch and let positive energy, and results, flood hallways and classrooms.
