Last Friday Night, yeah we danced on table tops and we took too many shots, think we kissed but I forgot – sorry, we’re still listening to Katy Perry on shuffle after that AMAZING SuperBowl Halftime show performance but seriously, last Friday we interviewed the God of Australia Beau Brooks of those crazy crazy Janoskians fame and it went really well… until he accused us of being Sam Pepper.

Apart from shaking with fear, we also laughed, spoke about something really huge and really long (naughty) and he said some cute about his mum. See those Janoskians boys are sweet, really. Read below to see how it went…

Hi Beau, we’re going to ask you some random quick fire questions. Before we begin with those, can you tell us about your upcoming Janofest at Wembley Arena?

It’s on March 21 and it’s a big step up for us boys, we’re putting everything into this show. We’re really excited because we’re going to be playing all our new music that no-one’s heard before and we’re taking it a lot more serious and it’s just gonna be a whole lot of fun and I personally can’t wait to perform to such a big crowd.

It sounds really exciting! We’re going to start with the quick fire questions now… If you could be a Marvel superhero, who would you be?

Probably Superman so I can fly.

It was Australia Day this week. How did you celebrate?

Me and the boys had barbecue here in LA which is a very Aussie thing to do.

Who’s your favourite Simpsons character?

Maggie.

What is the key to happiness?

Just to live by the moment and just let everything in your past free.

If you could be any flavour of crisp, which would you be?

I’m a Dorito guy. The fans say I’m like a Dorito because I’ve got a triangle shaped head, so probably a Dorito.

What’s the weirdest thing we’ll see at Janofest?

Probably Jack & Jack. They’re pretty weird.

What was the last thing you bought?

The last thing I bought was a skateboard last night. It’s a pretty cool skateboard.

Which member of the Janoskians did you last see naked?

Daniel. It was a very, very long, huge, long time ago.

What’s your favourite Disney film?

Probably at the moment I’d have to say ‘Frozen’ just because it’s epic. It’s like the new generation of Disney and it’s really big and it’s really cool. I like it.

What’s your favourite thing about the UK?

Definitely the accent.

Justin Bieber or Justin Timberlake?

Justin Bieber but four years ago. Everybody loves little Justin.

What’s your strange addiction?

I like picking my fingernails and putting it in my mouth. But… erm… you don’t have to say anything on your website about that. [SORRY BEAU, WE JUST DID]

Who was the last person you text?

The last person I text was my mum. She misses us very much and yeah, I’m just giving her a bit of company at the moment.

Aww, that’s sweet! We’re half way through the interview. Are you bored yet?

No, you’re keeping me very entertained and on my feet.

Good. Which fruit do the Janoskians most taste like?

Pineapples. Yeah, pineapples.

What would the title of your autobiography be?

‘I’ve Got a Big Schlong’

What’s your most used emoji?

It’s the love heart because I’m a very caring person at the end of the day.

Coke or Pepsi?

I don’t drink either. I don’t really like Coke or Pepsi. But probably Coke.

What did you dream about last night?

I wish I could remember my dreams but I don’t know.

How many bones have you broken?

Hold on, I’m gonna have to count… five.

What are they?

My ankle, my wrist, my elbow, my finger and my shoulder. My shoulder wasn’t broken, it just popped out.

Which hurt the most?

Probably my elbow. I was in recovery for six months. It just kept getting bad.

What are you having for dinner tonight?

I really don’t know.

What’s your favourite smell?

Probably cheese. I love the smell of cheese.

What was the last thing you read about yourself on the internet?

It was an article written up about Janofest at the arena. It was a pretty cool article. [It must have been ours, obvs.]

What’s the best thing about being a Janoskian?

The best thing about being a Janoskian is that we choose our own pathway. We can do whatever we want and we can pretty much do whatever we want to do without anyone interfering. We’re not really manufactured. If one week we like doing music, we can do music. If the next week we want to write a book or do pranks, we can go straight into doing that. It’s really fun because being a Janoskian really keeps me on my feet.

Apart from Janofest, what’s the most exciting thing happening in your life right now?

Probably the music. The music is so much fun and we’re taking it very seriously. I love just going into the studio and recording and writing songs. We are taking the music very seriously, we want to be the best at what we do which makes it very fun as well, competing against other people and trying to release the absolute best we can do.

Who is your favourite British YouTuber?

Definitely not Sam Pepper. I’d have to say Mazzi Maz.

Do you prefer summer or winter?
Long pause… Is this Sam Pepper?

No…

What’s your full name, sorry? [The interviewer’s name is Samuel so he’s obviously just remembered being introduced to a Samuel.]

My full name?
At this point, Beau’s PR lady has to step in and reiterate that we are not Sam Pepper.

Sorry, I just remembered your name was Sam and thought this was a prank.

No, no. I’m not Sam Pepper.

Oh right, sorry. Summer or winter? Probably summer.

And finally if you could sum up the Janoskians in one sound, what would it be?

Jahoo!

Thank you very much Beau.

Thank you, Samuel [STILL NOT SAM PEPPER.]
