Okay, this video has nothing to do with landscape photography (which I usually try to keep the topic to here), but it’s just funny to watch. When I was at Creative Live the other week, Craig Swanson (the co-founder of CL) asked if I’d participate in this experiment he was doing to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of Photoshop. He set up a Mac with Photoshop 1.0 (which ain’t easy to do by the way), and he wanted to record the instructor’s reactions to trying to use it after all these years.
Being some one used to embarrassing themselves in front of hundreds of people, I said “Sure! Why not!”. Well who knew then (probably Craig did), that I would have just committed to embarrassing myself in front of a million people? The video totally went viral. And, as you’d expect it was bad. Like really bad on so many levels of badness. I felt helpless – especially when I realized you only get 1 undo (yes, 1!). If you’re not one of the 1 million people who’ve viewed it already, and if you haven’t seen it then you should definitely check it out. Luckily, I’m joined by some other fun and talented Photoshop instructors (Ben Willmore, Julianne Kost, Aaron Nace, Jarrod Platt, Dave Cross, Tim Grey, and Chris Orwig) who had a fun time with the experiment as well. Anyway, the video is embedded below or you can head straight to the youtube.com page to watch it as well.
Hat’s off to the crew at Creative Live for putting together a video that just makes ya’ smile Have a good one!
