MTV is gearing up for the final season of “Teen Wolf.” Ahead of this weekend’s New York ComicCon panel, the network dropped a brand new trailer, and it’s all about Stiles and Lydia.
Fans know that the season will deal with the Beacon Hills gang fighting off the Ghost Riders and the Nazi werewolf as well as try their hardest to save Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles.
The Ghost Riders will target Stiles in Season 6 and he will be completely wiped off in everyone’s memories.
The two-minute clip shows that it doesn’t take too long for everyone to notice that they are missing an important person in their lives.
Scott also shows his true alpha powers when he promises to rescue all of his friends, but it looks like Lydia is the key for the pack to save Stiles. It appears that her banshee abilities will play a major role in Stiles’ rescue.
Showrunner Jeff Davis has earlier stated that fans will be satisfied with how they will wrap up Lydia and Stiles’ story.
Davis recently shared a page from the season premiere’s script and it shows that Lydia will be with Stiles when he gets abducted by the Ghost Riders.
The last few seconds of the brand new clip affirms Stiles and Lydia’s feelings for one another as Stiles says that Lydia should always remember that he loves her.
Ian Bohen returns as Peter Hale in the upcoming season and it looks like he knows a lot more than everyone. Judging by the trailer, it appears that Peter was also targeted by the Ghost Riders and he tells Stiles that they’re doomed.
Dylan Sprayberry, who plays Liam, recently confirmed that Season 6 will not pick up immediately from where Season 5 left off. Instead, it will begin after three months during Scott, Stiles, Malia, and Lydia’s last few months as seniors.
As part of the promotion for the final season, the social media accounts of “Teen Wolf” was recently wiped clean, leaving no trace of any post at all.
Fans initially panicked thinking that the accounts were hacked. However, the cast followed it by posting photos with the #Remember on their own social media pages.
Shelly Hennig, who plays Malia also replied to some of her fans that she doesn’t know what will happen in the next season of “Teen Wolf” and insists that she’s best known for her role in “The Secret Circle.”
The final season of the MTV hit series will premiere on November 15. The season premiere, titled “Memory Lost,” will deal with the arrival of the Ghost Riders and Stiles’ abduction.
Davis has confirmed that the first half of the season will be seeing less of Stiles because he is part of the bigger mystery.
This was, of course, a way to allow Dylan to shoot for his film “Maze Runner: The Death Cure.” Earlier this year, the 25-year-old actor figured in an accident while filming the movie.
Production for the film and for “Teen Wolf” was delayed to give Dylan time to recover. The “First Time” actor has been spotted on the set recently and has well recuperated from his injuries.
“The Internship” star has an upcoming film titled “Deepwater Horizon” with Mark Wahlberg as well as another film in production called “American Assassin.” Production for the “Maze Runner: The Death Cure” is expected to resume later this year.
“Teen Wolf” has also resumed production earlier this week and Tyler Posey, who plays alpha Scott McCall, shared a touching Instagram post.
The 25-year-old actor posted a throwback photo of himself and O’Brien back in Season 1 and says that he feels so emotional filming the second half of the last season.
