Executive producer, Marc Guggenheim, has confirmed that he and his fellow producers are contemplating on bringing Sgt. Rock into the series. Guggenheim confessed that they have been talking about introducing the character for a while now.

According to Guggenheim, Sgt. Rock was supposed to be introduced in Legends of Tomorrow Season 2. However, they later realized that the time is not right, and decided to defer the decision until the next season.

The information might not make the fans happy, but they would find solace in the news that Sgt. Rock is constantly on the whiteboard for the series. The team has talked about his presence in the Justice Society story, but they had more than enough hero for the 1940s segment of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2.

According to International Business Times, the rumor about Sgt. Rock making an appearance in Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 started when his helmet was featured in the official Instagram page of DC Comics.

There had been talks of how interesting his appearance is going to be, but the producers ultimately decided that the time wasn’t right for Sgt. Rock to make an entrance.

While Sgt. Rock won’t be a part of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2, Jonathan Schaech has confirmed that he will be back as Jonah Hex. The actor confirmed the news on his Twitter page. He shared a photo of himself holding the script for the upcoming season and informed his fans that he would be back to kick ass in Legends of Tomorrow Season 2.

The photo shared by Jonathan Schaech stirred up a lot of excitement since it informed that the premiere episode is titled ‘Outlaw Country.’ Even though the title of the premiere episode is out, there is no news about what’s in store for the Legends of Tomorrow.

With Jonah Hex coming in, there are rumors that either the team will be back in the 1800s or Hex will visit them. The shooting for episode one of Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 is scheduled to start from 15th September and will continue until the 26th of the month.

The first season of Legends of Tomorrow had seen Vandal Savage wreaking havoc. The team managed to defeat the immortal villain and even toppled the corrupt Time Masters. Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow, as reported by Comic Book, will begin with the character of Dr. Nate Heywood, played by Nick Zano.

Dr. Heywood, a historian, will discover that the Legends are scattered in different moments of time. It is going to be on the unconventional historian to find a way to rescue the team.

The villain for Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow is primarily going to be Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). He is a billionaire inventor, who has created a suit that has the power to shrink him into the size of an atom.

He is going to join forces with the deadly assassin, Sara Lance aka the White Canary (Caity Lotz), the meta-human Firestorm, created by Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh). Heat Wave aka Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) who is a career criminal, is also going to join the rank of villains in Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow.

The upcoming season of Legends of Tomorrow will see the Legends meeting the Justice Society of America. The fans of DC Comics would be aware that the Justice Society were the precursor to the Justice League. The 1940s segment is going to see Vixen aka Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) join the team.
