According to iTech Post, the departure of Miguel Ferrer and Daniela Ruah pushed NCIS Los Angeles to get canceled after Season 8. Fans are keeping their fingers crossed for the cancellation news. They are hoping that CBS will come out to either deny or confirm the news before the season finale of NCIS Los Angeles Season 8.

NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 had been on a two-week hiatus and will be back with new episodes on Monday. The show will be back for an episode that will depict the characters celebrating Christmas. In spite of being busy with their Christmas celebrations, the team will make time to look for a missing person.

The Christmas episode of the series will see the NCIS Los Angeles team get involved in a missing person’s investigation and they will get involved with the Navy. The missing person in question is Navy Lieutenant Commander Jennifer Morgan. She had been part of an overseas cyber threat investigation and was working for the NSA before she went missing.

The NCIS Los Angeles team including Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly), Dam Hanna (James Todd Smith), G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell) will have to find Jennifer Morgan, make sure she is safe and also investigate the reason for her disappearance.

Reports suggest that Kensi Blye, played by Daniela Ruah will be back for the next episode. However, she will not be part of the active action. Since Ruah was on a maternity leave, she is staying away from active work until she is back on track when it comes to her physical fitness.

Since the whole team is expected to spend Christmas together, fans are hoping for another Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Blye moment. The two of them are officially back together, and since Christmas is one of the most romantic time of the year, the two might get into the next phase of their relationship.

Christian Times reported that Deek might end up proposing Blye and since she is in a better place, would readily accept his proposal. Kensi is back from a coma, and she wants to get back on her feet as fast as she can.

She trains with Nell (Renee Felice Smith) when the others aren’t around. Nell will have to make Kensi believe, and she won’t get anything by pushing.

She has to learn to take things easy and will have to give her body time to adjust. The viewers saw Kensi talking about the GI Joe action figure she had received from her brother, which worked as an inspiration for her. The female action figure was cast out by her brother since he didn’t want to play with the only girl in the GI Joe force.
