Jennifer Lopez proves that she’s still Jenny from the block. The 46-year-old singer cozied up to her gal pals Kate Hudson and Lady Gaga during the Golden Globes CAA after party at Sunset Tower Hotel in Westwood, California.

On her Instagram, the “American Idol” judge shared a photo of herself in between Hudson and Lady Gaga who was holding her Golden Globe.

In JLo’s caption, she took the time to congratulate Lady Gaga for winning Best Actress in a Mini-Series for “American Horror Story: Hotel.”

Hudson and Lopez were known to be long-time friends as they were pictured in parties together for years. But little did fans know that Gaga and the “Papi” singer are actually old pals too.

The Daily Mail reports that the “Born This Way” songstress helped the Latina native write some of her songs for her “Love” album along with producer RedOne.

During the CAA after party, Lopez was also seen partying with her former neighbors Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. The “Waiting for Tonight” singer has been friends with the Kardashian-Jenner clan for years since she bought a home in Hidden Hills near Kris Jenner’s place.

Jennifer also took the time to chat with her “Parker” co-star Jason Statham, who was recently engaged to model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

During the awarding ceremony, the “Maid in Manhattan” star donned a stunning yellow Giambattista Valli Haute Couture design which she partnered with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Judith Lieber crystal clutch, and over 200 karats of Harry Winston diamonds.

She changed into a white sleek and curvy dress after the awarding rites. After the Golden Globes, JLo and her beau Casper Smart first went to the annual In Style and Warner Bros after party at the Oasis Courtyard.

The “On the Floor” hitmaker opted for a tousled hairdo with a dark red lipstick and nail polish to match. Her date opted for the usual black tuxedo ensemble.

The singer-producer recently spoke about her relationship with Smart saying that there would be no wedding bells for the couple.

Lopez answered Ellen Degeneres’ pressing questions about her future plans and admits that she and her choreographer boyfriend won’t be tying the knot anytime soon.

“The Wedding Planner” actress was married thrice already, first with Ojani Noa, then with Cris Judd, and then to singer Marc Anthony.

The Puerto Rican beauty has currently a lot on her plate right now. Not only is she filming the 15th and last season of “American Idol,” she’s also a full-time mom to her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, seven-year-olds Max and Emme.

Speaking to People, the “Dance Again” singer opened up how she became emotional when she first watched the final season premiere of “American Idol.”

Lopez admits that she cried about two or three times upon watching it. She adds that the great thing about the show is that it’s all about dreams, family, love, and all the great things about life.

The final season of the music reality competition series has been dubbed as “American Idol XV” and “American Idol: The Farewell Season.” It premiered on January 6 with Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. all returning as judges.

Ryan Seacrest continues to be the show’s host and all former judges, including the original panel that consisted of Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson are all confirmed to make an appearance this season.

The last season of “American Idol” already started with a little controversy. ET Online reports that Lopez has faced an online backlash after her comments about contestant Lindita Halimi during the season premiere.

According to reports, JLo’s remarks to Lindita saying ‘she sings like a heavy girl’ was met with criticisms from some of the viewers especially when Halimi was found out to be a product of a massive weight loss program.
